The bit burr (also known as Pricker or Bubble Cheeker) is used to correct a horse who hangs to one side.

 

The burr is fitted to the bit between the horse's cheek and the bridle with the burrs facing towards the horse. The rein action pulls the burrs towards the nose and the horse reacts by turning away. Moulded Rubber with stiff Burr - 9cm diameter
